History
Takbeer TV, is a refreshing community based channel, launched on 14 January 2010, at a time when the world was in need of a radical re-think and re-education through a medium which is educational and entertaining.
Takbeer TV offers educational, current affairs, and entertainment programmes for the whole family from an Asian perspective. In October 2011, the channel began to air programs from Dawn News, which is one of the leading channels in Pakistan. Dawn News broadcasts different programs, featuring news, current affairs shows such as ‘News Night with Talat’, ‘Kab Tak’ and ‘Baat Nikaly Gee’ and other shows e.g. ‘Mast Morning With Maira’, ‘Sport Zone’, ‘A Taste of Fusion’, ’92[Identity]‘, ‘Equinox’ etc.
Takbeer will fulfil its promise of becoming the leading medium of moderate Islamic education representing the New Britain, through successfully executing its aim and objectives, and staying true to its mission statement.
